Suhanee is a junior from Lexington, MA, concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. As Co-President, Suhanee is excited to work with students on board to plan new initiatives and events. Suhanee is involved in off-campus research in sleep medicine and is an operating room volunteer at BIDMC. She also has a passion for scientific and medical journalism! In her free time, Suhanee enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time outside, and dancing.

Annette Kim

Annette is a junior from New York, concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Neuroscience. As Co-President, Annette is thrilled to continue her role on the HUPS board this semester and this semester and eager to help unite the pre-med community on campus. Through her position, she aims to support the board in fostering a friendly and collaborative environment for all. Outside of HUPS, Annette is involved in the Harvard Undergraduate Green Medicine Initiative which focuses on the intersection between medicine and sustainability. She is also a writer and editor for Flyby Blog. During her free time, Annette enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She loves exploring new foods and watching movies.

Queen Balina

Vice President

Queen is the Harvard Premedical Society's Vice President and a second-year studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Her interests lie at the intersection of medicine, health policy, and communication. Her priority is strengthening HPS's connections with other organizations on campus and ensuring HPS's accessibility to and engagement with as many undergraduates as possible. Outside of HPS, Queen serves as a Communications Director for the Harvard Health Policy Review and Chief of Publicity for the World Pre-Health Conference. More often than not, she can be found in Lamont Library.

Cadee is a first-year from Cresskill, NJ, concentrating in Neuroscience and Music. She is the HUPS Internal Outreach Coordinator! Outside of HUPS, Cadee is involved in the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra, research at the Engert Lab, MIHNUET, and AACF. In her free time, she loves to go cafe hopping!

Angelina Mustafa

External Outreach Director/Clinical Speciality Interest Group Program Director

Angelina is a junior from New York City, concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and Latino Studies. As External Outreach Director and the Clinical Speciality Interest Group Program Director, Angelina is excited to launch new programming this year! She is excited to introduce the Clinical Speciality Interest Group program to allow students to gain mentorship and interact directly with physicians in their specialties of interest in small groups to learn more about if they may want to pursue this speciality in the future! Outside of HUPS, Angelina is involved in Latinos in Health Careers, Women in Medicine, the Latina Empowerment and Development Conference, and research on Fatty Liver Disease and hepatocellular carcinoma. Angelina is Peruvian and passionate about increasing diversity in the medical field! In her free time, she loves to play softball and watch baseball (Go Mets!)

Kaitlin Caughman

Treasurer

Kaitlin is a first-year from Spartanburg, SC, concentrating in Chemistry with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. She serves as Treasurer on the HUPS board and is so excited to get to know other pre-meds on campus and help foster a collaborative environment by analyzing and compiling HUPS's financials! Kaitlin is currently involved in pancreatic cancer research at Boston Children's Hospital, is the treasurer of the MEDLIFE club on campus, and is taking the STAHR telescope class this semester! In her free time, Kaitlin loves hanging out with friends whether that's exploring Boston, watching movies/shows, or grabbing a bite to eat at Felipe's. 

Rodrigo Rodriguez

Rodrigo is a junior from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, concentrating in Human Evolutionary Biology. Rodrigo is excited to get to know everyone through his role as Operations Director, and support the HUPS community in any way he can! He hopes to host successful events to foster long-lasting relationships for an overall more connected community. Outside of HUPS, Rodrigo is involved in Latines in Health Careers and Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA. In his free time, Rodrigo enjoys listening to music while going on a drive or walks in nature, hanging out with friends, and traveling around the city.

Jeffrey is a first-year from Houston, TX, concentrating in either Economics or Molecular & Cellular Biology. As Communications Co-Director, Jeffrey is excited to transform HUPS's social media to help inform Harvard pre-meds of the HUPS's and the university's numerous opportunities! Outside of HUPS, Jeffrey is a Senior Editor at the Harvard Undergraduate Health Policy Review. In his free time, Jeffrey enjoys reading, walking around campus, solving puzzles, and spending time with his friends and family.

Mia is a first-year from East Greenwich, RI, concentrating in Neurobiology with a secondary in Spanish. She is so excited to be serving as Communications Co-Director on the board this year and is looking forward to expanding the HUPS social media to reach more of the pre-med community on campus! Outside of HUPS, Mia is involved in CDKL5 deficiency disorder research at the Kirby Neurobiology Center at Boston Children's Hospital. She also sings for the Harvard Fallen Angels, is a captain of the Women's Club Ice Hockey team, plays cello in Crimson Cellos and the Harvard Pops Orchestra, and volunteers with Harvard Undergrads Raising Autism Awareness. Mia aspires to earn an MD/PhD and become a pediatric neurologist. In her free time, Mia enjoys reading, singing, and spending time with friends and family, and next year she will be living in Pforzheimer House!

Natalie Mendez is a first-year living in Weld Hall. She intends to concentrate in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a potential secondary in economics. Outside of her time as a pre-med student, she loves reading, crafting, and listening to music. Aiden is a sophomore from Wallback, WV, concentrating in Sociology. He brings a passion for community service and a diverse range of interests to his role as the HUPS Volunteer Coordinator. Outside of HUPS, Aiden is involved in Disaster and Emergency Management, and hailing from West Virginia, he is an avid hiker and lover of the great outdoors who spends his free time surrounded by his beloved animals. In his role as Volunteer Coordinator, Aiden aims to provide pre-medical students with an enriching and hands-on experience through the Society's Volunteer Program. He believes that by offering a wide range of opportunities, the program will help students build their resumes and gain valuable experience while also giving back to their community.

Mira is a sophomore from Coppell, TX, concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in English. Mira is excited to return to lead Prescriptions for a second year and get to put on more events related to the arts in medicine and the medical humanities this semester! Outside of HUPS, Mira dances with AADT and is on board for the Harvard Creative Writing Collective. She is also part of CrimsonEMS and does enteric neurobiology research at Boston Children’s Hospital! In her free time, Mira enjoys reading, writing, dancing, and going on boba runs with friends.

Mirika is a first-year from Basking Ridge, NJ, concentrating in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Economics. As Prescriptions Co-Editor-in-Chief, Mirika is excited to be involved with Harvard's premed community through serving on HUPS and to meet other students who share a similar passion for medicine. Through leading Prescriptions, she is excited to combine her interests in medicine and the humanities/arts. Outside of HUPS, Mirika is involved in STAHR, PBHA's Experimentors, THURJ, and The Crimson's blog Flyby. In her free time, she enjoys attending shows/performances on campus, spending time outdoors, dabbling in photography, and reading.

Peer Premedical Advising (PPA) Director

Josue is a sophomore from Las Vegas, NV, double concentrating in Bioengineering and Neuroscience with a secondary in Mind, Brain, and Behavior (MBB). Josue is excited to be on board for HUPS this year as Peer Premedical Advising Director to create long lasting connections amongst peer mentors and mentees. Additionally, he hopes to make an impact that allows for being premed at Harvard more accessible to help students overcome certain obstacles that come with being premed. Outside of HUPS, Josue is an Analyst for the Harvard Biotechnology Club, the Associate Director of Finance for Latinos in Health Careers (LiHC) and a Course Assistant for the Math Department at Harvard, specifically, Math21A - Multivariable Calculus. In his free time, Josue likes to scroll through Tiktok, sing alone in my dorm, and just spend time with friends whether that be through getting boba or getting something to eat in the square. Josue is a First-Generation Guatemalan-American student that is happy to answer questions for students who may have questions about what it means to be premed!

Yuchen is a sophomore from Brooklyn, NY, concentrating in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a secondary in Psychology. As Physician Mentoring Program Director, Yuchen is excited to help expand the shadowing and clinical experiences available and allow more students to have the opportunity to access and connect with their mentors. Outside of HUPS, Yuchen is involved in a few PBHA tutoring clubs, the World Pre-Health Conference, and the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program. In her free time, Yuchen likes to read, dance, and walk to H-mart for snacks!

Keneil is one of the Surgery Interest Group Co-Directors! He is a second-year student from Albertson, NY, concentrating in Neuroscience with a secondary in Economics. Outside of HUPS, he plays french horn in the Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra and am an EMT with Crimson EMS. In his free time, he likes staying active by working out or playing sports like basketball. This year, he hopes to hold more events for SIG, including more shadowing opportunities and chances to speak with surgeons from different fields, surgery watch parties, and more suturing workshops.

As Co-Director of the Surgery Interest Group, Tia is so excited for more surgical panels with Boston doctors, suturing workshops, and trivia nights. She is also looking forward to community events and socials within SIG and the whole HUPS board, and she is grateful to be art of an amazing community of passionate, engaging pre-med students! Outside of HUPS, Tia is a CTL for Harvard Biotech Club, on the board of Harvard Youth Lead the Change does research in plastic surgery and tissue regeneration at MGH/Shriner's. In her free time, Tia loves to play soccer and spend time with friends, and she is passionate about plastic surgery and improving access to surgery globally!

Carl is a first-year from Beirut, Lebanon, concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. An aspiring pre-medical student, Carl has always dreamed of conducting clinical research, and he believes that the opportunities at Harvard are limitless, and our ability to make an impact depends only on our ability to identify and make the most out of them. He is extremely excited to be this year's Clinical Research Interest Group Director, and hopes to be a positive influence that connects passionate students with life-changing opportunities in the medical field. Outside of HUPS, Carl is a passionate MUNer, and served as Assistant Director of the WHO committee at Harvard Model United Nations 2024. He is also involved in the Harvard Pediatric Buddies Club, where he conducts visits to cancer patients at Christopher's Haven. In his free time, Carl really enjoys playing soccer, and is currently part of the club team. He also plays basketball and piano!

Pranav is a sophomore in Lowell House pursuing a double concentration in neuroscience and human evolutionary biology. As the director for the Medical Ethics, Law and Policy Forum, Pranav is passionate about exploring how underlying legal structures impact how medicine is practiced and accessed. By providing a space where medicine is viewed more than just an application of science, Pranav hopes to empower other premedical students to impact larger medical and legal structures to expand equity. Outside of HUPS, you can find Pranav photographing various events around campus, searching for the perfect bagel spot, and fine tuning his foosball skills.

Community Care Collective Co-Director

Amal is a junior from Michigan, concentrating in History of Science with a secondary in Integrative Biology. As Community Care Collective Co-Director, Amal is excited to help cultivate a safe and creative space for premed students to conduct projects of their own and come together to detoxify our pre-med community on campus! Outside of HUPS, Amal is the president of Harvard College Students Inspire, a platform where students can share their stories in TEDx style talks. Amal is also a mentor and co-director of Storywish, in which members help guide elementary school students write and publish their own stories. Amal also volunteers with other clubs, like the University Blood Initiative (UBI) and the Kidney Screening Awareness Program (KDSAP). When free, Amal likes reading REAL books that aren’t class-required readings, writing poetry to try to make sense of everything, and eating non-dhall food with friends.

Physician Assistant Interest Program Director

Victoria is a junior from Denver, CO, concentrating in Integrative Biology with a secondary in Psychology. The PA Interest Program is a new program in HUPS this year, and as Director, Victoria is so excited to get started! She is hoping to introduce more students to the Physician Assistant career, and to also create a welcoming and supportive community for students who are currently on the pre-PA track. Outside of HUPS, Victoria is working in the Fishman Lab this year as a research assistant. She is Vice President of the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program, where she works to raise awareness about chronic kidney disease and helps to host free health screenings in local community centers. She is also volunteering at MGH this semester! In her free time, Victoria loves to read, and is hoping to hit 50 books this year! Other than that, Victoria loves watching a good rom-com, exploring Boston, and she also takes ballet classes every so often. She is a proud resident of Mather House!
